This silver-white articulator is a sibling of piece number six in the same series. Its metal surface is lighter and shinier, and the left cantilever is engraved with the letter L, for left, perfectly pairing with the R of number six. The two articulators, one left and one right, form a complete paired display and confirm that they are the two sides of the same model. With spring adjusting rods in the middle, black-sleeved positioning legs at the front and a bright vertical guide column on the right, the structure is precise and well preserved. Looking at them, one can almost picture the technician working with them alternately, left and right.
